Sid Grassbaugh, CST
Body Work Practitioner, Certified Craniosacral Therapist, Certified Massage Therapist, Trained in Fire Cupping

She/Her/Hers

Sid has been coming to NE Wellness since they first opened in 2009 and now enjoyed being a member of the staff since 2020. Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is Sid’s first love when it comes to bodywork. She received her certification in CST from The Heartwood Institute of Integrative Medicine where she is now a teacher and teaching assistant and creates Build Your Skill Classes for the Heartwood Teachers Group.

She first became interested in CST around 2014 when she discovered benefits such as calmness, centeredness, better vision, and relief from inner ear issues her body received from a single session. After learning more about CST Sid realized that she had actually been doing CST on herself since childhood. Sid appreciates CST for its gentle touch and ability to address an array of issues. Emotional issues, neck, hip, arm, back and shoulder pain and concussion symptoms are all issues that she has expertise in treating.

She is also a certified massage therapist. Sid also enjoys spending time researching, studying, and practicing the myriad of ways Craniosacral Therapy and other bodywork modalities such as different varieties of massage, cupping, dermoneuromodulation, acupressure, Zero Balancing, reflexology, Lomi Lomi , Gua Sha and more can help people.  The greatest pleasure she gets from doing bodywork is through helping people learn about how to listen to their body and make their lives less stressful, less painful, and live a fuller life.

In her spare time Sid loves to go urban kayaking on the Mississippi just blocks from NE Wellness, learning about different modalities of bodywork, fishing, fostering dogs and puppies, and hanging out with her wife, dog, and friends. She is also active in the neighborhood that she lives and now works in.
